Bringing The Artists Closer To You is an online music magazine and record label, dedicated to Brighton's unrivaled live-music scene since 2007. Fresh for 2017, the team are combining their passion for the city's buzzing gig scene, with Juice 107.2's nearly two decades experience in broadcasting to Brighton and Hove.

Tune in Monday to Thursday evenings from 9pm for live-music previews, exclusive sessions and interviews from the Brightonsfinest team, fronted by Tony Marks and Jeff Hemmings.

Jeff Hemmings

Jeff has been fully immersed in the local music and arts scenes since setting foot in Brighton in the 90s. Co-founder of the Brighton Fringe Festival and The Basement, he was Editor of both Impact magazine and The Latest before becoming Music Editor for Latest 7.

An evening presenter on Juice from 2005-2007, he then became a daily drive time presenter on Radio Reverb. While all this was going he went into artist management, and programmed Meadowlands Festival. For the last three years, he has been content and feature writer for Brighton’s Finest, interviewing the likes of Rag’n’Bone Man, Brian Wilson, Kate Tempest, The Damned, Passenger, Seaford Mods, Goat, Metronomy, Disclosure and many many others. Jeff also co-presents Under The Radar on Latest TV with Paul Mex.

Tony Marks

Tony has been an ambassador for new and alternative music in Brighton for many years. Whilst fronting Juice 107.2's new-music output, he gave first radio airplay to many local artists including Brit Award winners Tom Odell and Rag N Bone Man. He’s also interviewed many big names at the heights of their careers such as Foo Fighters, Mumford & Sons, Kasabian, The xx, PJ Harvey, The Maccabees, Florence & Machine, Foals and many more.

In addition to life behind the mic, Tony created and presented The Brighton Album Chart Show for Latest TV, based on sales at Resident Music and promoted local talent further, with his series of New Music Showcase gigs at the Green Door Store. These included a headline set from Rizzle Kicks. Mark's weekly open-mic night at The Windmill attracted surprise performances from Sharleen Spiteri from Texas and rapper/spoken word artist Scroobius Pip. He has also been a host and panelist for the likes of The Great Escape, BIMM, Topman24 and others.
