Sussex County Cricket Club will play host to Australia once again ahead of their limited-over series with England next sumer.

The Sharks, who appointed former Aussie international Jason Gillespie as their new Head Coach earlier this month, will host World Cup holders Australia for a fifty-over match on Thursday 7th June 2018 as part of their limited-overs tour of England.

Darren Lehman's side will face England in six ODI matches next summer, beginning at the Oval on Friday 13th June.

The match offers the mouthwatering prospect of the Sussex Sharks testing themselves against some of the very best one-day cricketers in the world, including Steve Smith, David Warner, Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins.

The side's last met at the County Ground ahead of the 2013 Ashes series in England, with their three day match ending in a draw.

Australia's limited overs tour follows the current Ashes series Down Under, with the Aussies currently winning 1-0 after beating England by 10 wickets in the opening test in Brisbane.
