'Wrap up Brighton': Station donates to homeless

Brighton Station has donated bags of warm clothing to St. Peters Church Safe Haven for the homeless.

As part of their 'Wrap Up Brighton' initiative - inspired by 'Wrap Up London' - the team at Brighton station have taken a collection of donations to the church today.

Donations included 45 coats, 35 umbrellas and 2 sacks of hats, scarves and other warm accessories from bins placed in five mess rooms.

The coats were all donated by staff at Brighton Station and the umbrellas are unclaimed lost property.
