Woman Rescued From Sea In Hove By Shoreham RNLI

Volunteer crews launched both boats at 3.55am today and saved the woman who was in the water at the back of the King Alfred

She was taken ashore and handed over to the care of the police and ambulance.

Meanwhile the all weather lifeboat was launched at 1.55pm yesterday (Tuesday) to a 31ft yacht 3miles south of the Shoreham Harbour entrance. It had run out of fuel on passage to Southampton with 3 people on board. The vessel was towed back to Shoreham by the lifeboat.
