Two Brighton players have been named in their nation's provisional squads ahead of the 2018 World Cup in Russia this summer.
Maty Ryan is one of three goalkeeper's selected for Australia's 26 man pre-tournament training camp, with the squad to be whittled down to 23 after their final warm-up game against the Czech Republic on June 1st. The 26-year old has been his country's first choice goalkeeper for a number of years, having earned 42 international caps since 2012.
The Socceroos are in Group C and begin their campaign against France on Saturday 16th June, followed by games with Denmark and Peru in the group stage.

Winger Jose Izquierdo is one of 36 players vying for a spot in Jose Pekerman's final squad for Colombia. The 25-year old will have a tougher time making the cut for the tournament than his teammate, however his impressive performances for Albion in the second half of the season earned him a call-up to the South American nation's squad during the international break. They play their final friendly against Egypt in Italy on June 1st.
La Tricolor will be hoping to finish top of Group H, with Japan, Poland and Senegal their group stage opponents.
The deadline for competing nations to submit their final 23-man squad list is June 4th, ten days before the tournament gets underway in Moscow.
