Hello! Don't you just love Mondays? Hope you had a good weekend. Foxy and I had the live music scene covered over the weekend.Andrea was down at Loop during Sarah's show and myself and the Powell were at the Albert judging for the Absolute Live band auditions. I was the nasty one, Sarah the nice one. The live music weekend continued with XYZ last night at Coalition, which I was hosting.Very rock n' roll last night, with bands smashing up the stage- yay!Floors and Walls were the eventual winners.
James Morrison was our very special guest today. We found out that he's been working with Nelly Furtado and Gary Barlow but when asked how big Barlow's bottom was, he claimed 'not to have looked.'
He also played our new game 'Hove- actually or fictionally,'where he had to guess which celeb is living in Hove and which is not. (Jimbo recently moved into little Brighton).He scored an impressive 4 out of 5.
Pinky was our odd job guest today. He's an artist,currently with an exhibition at Ink_d on North Rd. He's also worked with Justin Timberlake, who was 'very down to earth'and was on his way for a date with madonna.As you do.Check out pinkyvision.com to see his work. He's also the spit of Mika.
