We talked about our night with The Saturdays, the new girl band on the block that recently supported Girls Aloud on their UK tour. We interviewed them prior to our dinner date and they were very open, divulging quite a few hidden secrets. Keep listening to the Breaky Show for that interview and a first play of their new single.
After the interview, the girls, their tour manager, Nikki and Andrea all headed to Zilli's restaurant on Jubilee Street for a seafood nosh up.Initially very excited about going for dinner with seven attractive girls, I soon realised I looked like the gay stylist for the band. Never been the butch type..
Today's Power Shower Hour track was an epic number from 1976..The Eagles 'Hotel California.' We sang along in the studio, whilst slurping much needed green tea.We'll go more modern tomorrow with a band that rhymes with 'folks'.
Jonesy was hiding out in Brighton today and despite giving out three cryptic clues, nobody could guess his whereabouts. He was at the Karma Bar at the Marina and on returning to the studio, he was breathalysed and found to be clean of any early morning tipple. The prize will now gather momentum and turn into something quite huge next week.
And super-duper extra intelligent Kelly beat Andrea in today's Out Fox the Fox, to win a sack full of CD's. The Fox, I can tell you, was inconsolable and does not like losing. Kelly however will never have to buy another CD again and is available for your pub quiz team now.
Frank and Maddie came in to talk about this weekends Greenwave Eco festival which we'll be covering. It's gonna be green, mean and alot of fun for all the family.It's the first for Brighton, so get down to Preston Park this Saturday and Sunday.
