31 year old charged with robbing Portslade floor centre

Christopher Chan of no fixed abode, has been charged over several vehicle offences after his arrest on Thursday 16 August He has also been charged with burglary of the Wooden Floor Centre, Portslade on 15th July.
Christopher Chan, 31, unemployed and of no fixed abode, has been charged with the following offences after his arrest on Thursday 16 August on the A27, Polegate:
- Driving whilst disqualified, theft of a car and dangerous driving plus failing to provide a specimen for analysis - all of which occured in Eastbourne on 16 August.
- Burglary of the Wooden Floor Centre, Portslade, and theft of a Vauxhall Corsa in Hove, both of which occured on Sunday 15 July.
Chan appeared at Eastbourne Magistrates' Court on 18 August and pleaded guilty to the Eastbourne offences.
He did not enter a plea for the Brighton offences and a trial date has yet to be set for this and sentencing for the Eastbourne offences.
A 31-year-old man arrested on suspicion of leaving the scene of an accident on the Kings Road, Brighton has been bailed until 4 October, pending further enquiries.
